Update 4/19/10: the recorded amendment to the Easement Ordinance is attached.

UPDATE: At the request of the City Manager and Alderman Fiske, the easement Ordinance was taken off the agenda and will be addressed at the first Council Meeting in March. Ward residents are encouraged to come to the 1st Ward Meeting on March 2nd at 7pm at the Evanston Public Library where questions will be addressed.

Mather and the City are in the process of amending the original ordinance to increase the easement necessary to complete their project. Affected neighborhood residents were NOT notified of the proposed changes that may affect their properties. We have attached the documents that are set to be introduced AND approved at the February 22, 2010 Council meeting.
